In the 20 years of our firm's existence, we have not only helped our clients recover substantial settlements and jury verdicts for their injuries, we have also helped develop Massachusetts personal injury law through successful arguments on appeal and through our writing, lecturing, and leadership in professional organizations.

Paul F. Kenney, one of our founding partners, has 30 years of civil experience. He negotiated one of the first million-dollar settlements for a cancer misdiagnosis claim in Massachusetts history. Today, his primary practice areas are construction and workplace accident litigation, wrongful death, and the formulation of damages claims and presentations in the most severe personal injury cases. He also wrote an article on damages presentations in wrongful death cases for the Massachusetts Bar Association. Mr. Kenney is a graduate of Boston University School of Law.

Our other founding partner, J. Michael Conley, has 25 years of civil trial experience, and today works primarily on personal injury cases of all kinds. He has written and lectured extensively for professional audiences on auto insurance coverage issues, and has also pioneered methods of reaching homeowners' policies for the payment of certain vehicle accident damages claims. Mr. Conley is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School.

Since earning her law degree from Suffolk in 1997, Kristen A. Barnes has spent her entire professional career with our firm. She also lectures and writes on auto accident and car insurance issues, but practices in all of our personal injury fields. Her skill before the appellate courts has been instrumental in establishing our firm as a leading contributor to the development of Massachusetts personal injury law and jurisprudence.
