Overview & Experience

Benjamin T. Carroll is a dedicated medical malpractice and personal injury attorney at Kenney & Conley P.C. He has focused his practice on representing clients who have suffered serious injuries due to negligence. Ben handles a broad range of cases, including medical malpractice, surgical errors, birth injuries, delayed diagnoses, medication errors, wrongful death, nursing home negligence, catastrophic injuries, workplace injuries, construction site accidents, auto accidents, premises liability, product liability, and airline accidents.

Known for representing cases that other law firms avoid, Ben thrives on novel issues. His caseload routinely consists of unique personal injury matters and complex medical malpractice issues. On the front end of handling matters clients might not think of, Ben recognizes issues early that affect the net pocket expenses in their case. Caring for his clients is something he takes very seriously, often meeting with them in their homes and advocating on their behalf to ensure they receive an award that will help them take care of themselves and their families. Whether negotiating a favorable settlement or advocating in the courtroom, Ben remains focused on protecting clients’ interests and achieving meaningful results.

In addition to an active legal practice, Ben is an adjunct professor at his alma mater, Suffolk University Law School, teaching Advanced Practice Skills, a course designed to prepare students in their last semester of law school for litigation in Massachusetts Superior Court. Through this role, Ben mentors future attorneys by combining practical litigation experience with legal scholarship, helping students develop the practical and advocacy skills necessary for successful legal careers. This commitment to legal education reflects Ben’s dedication to advancing the profession both inside and outside the court room.

Ben joined the Kenney & Conley P.C. team over 10 years ago, first as a law clerk after finishing his first year of law school, and then as an attorney after completing his Juris Doctor at Suffolk University Law School, graduating cum laude. While attending Suffolk University Law School, he was a member of the Accelerator-to-Practice Program and Clinic a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, the Journal of High Technology Law, and the teaching assistant for two sections of torts, teaching approximately 160 law students the law he currently practices.

Outside of the office, Ben is committed to giving back to the community through serving as the Chair of his local Conservation Commission, where he works to support responsible stewardship of natural resources and promote thoughtful community development. Ben also routinely serves as a board member of local nonprofits.

While not practicing law, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and children, exploring the outdoors, and staying connected to the community he serves.
