Christopher Conley

Attorney

Overview & Experience

Christopher Conley is a third-generation trial lawyer and has worked at Kenney & Conley in various capacities since 2006. From the beginning, Chris has been involved in a wide array of civil litigation. Crediting the firm’s mentorship culture, he relates, “Younger attorneys like me have been mentored by senior attorneys and entrusted with significant, complex cases earlier in our careers. This has allowed me to gain extensive experience and develop expertise in handling challenging cases.”

Among those complicated cases, Chris has managed a broad range, including international injury claims, construction site accidents, traumatic brain injuries, slip-and-fall accidents, motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence matters. Chris’ favorite part of the work is going to trial; however, he recognizes that a fair and reasonable settlement can often be in a client’s best interests.

His approach to the initial consultation is to let a prospective client describe what happened in their own words. “The first thing is, I always let the person tell their story. A lot of the time, they just need someone to listen to them. It can be cathartic for people, whether we can help or not,” recognizes Chris. After ensuring that he can help them in a meaningful way, he outlines expectations and provides a clear, realistic assessment of their case.

Chris graduated summa cum laude with excellence from the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Boston, earning his degree in political science, before attending Roger Williams University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude.

Chris prides himself on giving back to his community. He participates in multiple legal advocacy groups. He sat for many years as the legal representative of the BAMSI Human Rights Committee in Brockton, Massachusetts, and spent nearly a decade on the Board of Governors for the Old Colony YMCA Easton Branch. Currently, Chris serves on the Board of Directors of NRT Easton, a local conservation and environmental education non-profit.

Chris resides in West Bridgewater with his wife, son, and dog. He looks forward to the birth of his daughter this summer.

Chris is proud to have been selected as a Super Lawyer’s 2026 Massachusetts Rising Star, an honor earned by peer recognition and professional achievement. This distinction is reserved for the top 2.5% of lawyers in the Commonwealth under 40 years old or in practice for less than 10 years.
